ABOUT OLGA JOAN
We’re a small, product-led womenswear label based in Newcastle, growing quickly as we build out proper roles for the first time. We design refined, feminine pieces in small runs, with a focus on fabric, fit, and longevity.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Social Media Coordinator owns Olga Joan’s day-to-day presence across social platforms. Building out content, managing the posting schedule, and engaging with our community in a voice that feels true to the brand. This is a newly established role reporting to our Marketing & Ecommerce Manager, and sits at the centre of how customers experience Olga Joan outside of the product itself.
This role is part-time to start, with genuine scope to grow alongside the business. Graphic design skills are highly advantageous and could see this role expand toward a full-time position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Content & scheduling
Plan, schedule, and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and other relevant platforms
Maintain and manage the social content calendar, aligning with product drops, campaigns, and key dates
Write on-brand captions and copy that reflect Olga Joan’s tone of voice
Coordinate with our Creative Team around shoot content and asset needs for social
Community & engagement
Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and mentions in a timely, on-brand manner
Build genuine engagement with Olga Joan’s community and identify opportunities to grow it
Flag customer feedback or recurring themes back to relevant department heads
Reporting & collaboration
Track platform performance and report on key metrics regularly
Work closely with the Marketing & Ecommerce Manager on campaign planning and social strategy
Stay across social media trends and bring forward ideas relevant to the brand
Skills & attributes
Experience managing social media accounts for a brand, ideally within fashion or a similar consumer space
Strong writing skills and a natural feel for tone of voice
Comfortable working independently and managing a content calendar with minimal oversight
Graphic design skills (e.g. Canva, Adobe Suite) highly advantageous
An eye for what good content looks like, on and off platform
Reliable and organised, with strong attention to detail

Part-time, 2–3 days per week, with room to grow as the role and business develop
Based in Newcastle, this can be a hybrid arrangement, full attendance required during onboarding period and at least one day per week in the office thereafter
