Once an order has been dispatched and is in the possession of the shipping carrier, Olga Joan is no longer liable for any lost, stolen, delayed, or misdelivered parcels.
Ownership and risk in the goods pass to the customer upon dispatch. While we’ll always do our best to assist you if an issue arises, customers are responsible for contacting their selected shipping provider for delivery-related issues.
Standard shipping methods include limited insurance coverage. For peace of mind, we recommend selecting DHL Express, which includes full tracking and higher insurance limits.
CURRENCY, TAXES AND DUTY
All payments are processed in Australian Dollars. For domestic orders, prices include GST.
International orders may incur duties and taxes, which are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend checking your local customs website for any potential charges.
Please note: For customers in the United States, recent tariff changes may result in higher import duties on apparel made in China. These fees are determined by U.S. Customs and are not controlled by Olga Joan.
PRE-ORDERS
Selected styles are occasionally available for pre-order. If your order includes both in-stock and pre-order items, the full order will ship together once the pre-order item is ready.
If you’d prefer the available item sooner, we recommend placing separate orders.
If something isn’t quite right, we accept returns for exchange or store credit within 14 days of receipt, subject to the conditions below. At this stage, Olga Joan is run by a very small team — just one full-time pair of hands — so we’re not able to offer refunds for change-of-mind returns. Each return takes time to process, from inspection and steaming to folding, packing, and restocking, and those small tasks add up quickly. We also try to minimise waste where we can, encouraging slower, more thoughtful purchasing over frequent shipping and returns. It’s not a perfect system, but it’s what we can manage right now — and we’re working toward something more flexible as we grow. Thanks so much for your understanding.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
CONDITIONS OF RETURNS
A valid order number must be provided as proof of purchase.
Items must be unworn, unwashed, and unaltered.
Full-price items purchased within Australia are eligible for exchange or store credit.
Sale items may be returned for store credit only. Exchanges are not available on sale items.
Items purchased with a discount code (excluding marked-down items) are not considered sale items and follow our standard return policy.
International orders are eligible for return for store credit only. Exchanges are not available for international orders.
If you purchase multiple sizes of the same style in a single order to determine the best fit, you’re welcome to return the unworn size for a refund. This applies only to duplicate sizes of the same style purchased in the same transaction.
All returns must be submitted via our return form prior to sending your item back.
EXCHANGES
We accept exchanges on full-price items for Australian orders. Customers are responsible for return shipping; we’ll cover the cost of sending out the replacement.
For all other orders—including sale and international—we kindly ask that you return the item and place a new order for your preferred style or size. This ensures a faster and more streamlined process.
To begin, simply submit your return or exchange request via our return form, and we’ll provide further instructions.
STORE CREDIT
We offer store credit with no expiry date. If you would like to opt for store credit, please select this option when lodging your return.

Once approved, we will provide further instructions.
After we receive your return, please allow up to 5 business days for processing.
We recommend using a traceable shipping service, as we cannot be held responsible for lost returns.
